Structural Engineer - SC Cleared

Structural Engineer (Defence & Security) | Remote + occasional site visits | Permanent

A leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a remote-first role with occasional site visits, offering the chance to work on high-impact building and infrastructure projects in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering structural engineering design across a range of building/infrastructure projects
• Producing and checking calculations, design outputs and supporting technical documentation
• Supporting site activities including inspections/surveys and responding to technical queries
• Coordinating with senior engineers, contractors and wider design teams to ensure safe delivery
• Ensuring work meets relevant standards, regulations and compliance requirements

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a Structural Engineer / Structural Design role
• Comfortable working across both design office and site support activities
• Strong technical capability with a detail-focused, safety-first approach
• Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Security Clearance (SC) required (or ability to obtain)
