Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and safety of our outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and performing general landscaping duties. You will work closely with our grounds management team to ensure that all areas are kept in excellent condition, adhering to health and safety regulations while delivering high-quality service to our clients. A keen eye for detail and a passion for outdoor work are essential for this role.

In addition to the hands-on maintenance of gardens and green spaces, you will also be responsible for equipment upkeep and reporting any issues that may arise. Responsibilities include maintaining tools and machinery, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and in good working order, and assisting with seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance and snow removal when necessary. You should possess strong time management skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
