School Caretaker / Janitor

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker / Janitor to join our team and ensure that our educational environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining cleanliness in classrooms and common areas. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

In addition to routine cleaning duties, the School Caretaker / Janitor will perform minor repairs, assist with the setup for school events, and help maintain the school grounds. The position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work with cleaning chemicals safely, and follow health and safety regulations. Strong communication skills are essential, as the caretaker will interact with students, staff, and visitors regularly. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in janitorial or custodial services.
