Location: UK → Austria (9-month secondment)
Salary: Up to £90,000 + package

The Opportunity

A leading international contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a major data centre programme in Austria.
You will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of high-value MEP and construction packages within a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Administer contracts (NEC / JCT or equivalent) and manage risk
• Control cost reporting, forecasting, and budget tracking
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts
• Identify and manage variations, change control, and claims
• Work closely with Project Managers and operational teams
• Ensure commercial performance is optimised across the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS on large-scale construction projects
• Experience within MEP, data centres, or major infrastructure preferred
• Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge
• Experience managing subcontractor packages
• Ability to operate within high-value, fast-paced projects
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
