About the role
We are looking for a Unified Communications Technician to join a busy telecoms and connectivity team.
You'll play a key role in delivering, supporting and maintaining voice and data solutions for business customers, combining hands-on installations with remote technical support and fault resolution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and configuring VoIP and hosted voice systems
- Supporting broadband, fibre, leased line and connectivity services
- Providing 1st and 2nd line technical assistance
- Troubleshooting network, telephony and hardware issues
- Working with suppliers and carriers to resolve service faults
- Supporting project delivery and customer onboarding activities
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation and ticket updates
Essential Skills
- Telecoms, VoIP or Unified Communications experience
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of connectivity technologies and business communications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage support tickets within agreed service levels
Nice to Have
- Structured cabling experience
- Networking knowledge including routing and switching
- Experience with leased lines and hosted voice platforms
