About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a highly skilled Managed Services team.
You'll be responsible for handling technical escalations, managing complex incidents, supporting infrastructure projects, and acting as a senior technical resource across both cloud and on-premise environments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems while helping develop and support a wider engineering team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Resolving high-priority and complex technical issues
- Managing major incidents from investigation through to resolution
- Supporting customer infrastructure projects and deployments
- Providing guidance and mentoring to support engineers
- Working across Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, virtualisation, networking, and security technologies
- Producing technical documentation and knowledge articles
- Contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives
Essential Skills
- Strong experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
- Expertise supporting Microsoft infrastructure technologies
- Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, networking, and firewalls
- Experience with virtualisation platforms
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Desirable Skills
- Microsoft Expert-level certifications
- Cisco certifications (CCNP)
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments
