About the role
Logistics Coordinator / Logistics Operative
Location: Unit 5, Block A, Bescot Industrial Estate, Walsall, WS10 7SGPay Rate: £14.54 per hour (PAYE)Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00Contract: Initially 4 weeks to cover sickness (with the option of a 3-month contract)We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator / Logistics Operative to join a busy depot based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative with a valid Flexi Narrow Aisle Truck (17N) licence looking for immediate work.Key Responsibilities
Picking and moving goods throughout the warehouse.Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.Operating a Flexi Narrow Aisle Truck (17N).Heavy manual handling and lifting as part of daily warehouse operations.Receiving, storing, and dispatching stock accurately.Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Supporting the wider logistics team with day-to-day depot activities.
Essential Requirements
Valid Flexi Narrow Aisle Truck (17N) / Articulated Forklift Truck licence.Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment.Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift.Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
