Cask Handler

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Cask Handler to join our client based in the East End of Glasgow.

Our client operates a busy spirit filling and warehousing facility, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with an early finish every Friday and immediate starts available.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
• Paid weekly at £13.55 per hour
• Immediate start available

As a Cask Handler, your duties will include:

• Safely moving spirit in line with established process procedures
• Supporting filling, warehousing and disgorging activities across the site
• Handling empty casks safely and efficiently
• Meeting targets for quality, service and cost
• Working in line with health and safety requirements at all times

To be considered as a Cask Handler, you will need:

• A minimum of 3 years’ cask handling experience
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with drinks industry legislation and health and safety requirements around cask handling
• A reliable, safety-focused approach to work
