About the role
Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Liverpool – trunking and palletised goods.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
- Day and night shift available
- Paid weekly at £19.05 to £23.53 per hour (all holidays included)
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the North West
- Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections
- Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements
To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
