About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and organized School Receptionist to join a secondary school that we closely work with in Halesowen. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the school’s front desk, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to staff, students, and parents. This role is full-time (8:30am – 4pm), to start from September 2026 until December 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
– Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department
– Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner
– Managing incoming and outgoing mail
– Maintaining office supplies and ordering new supplies as needed
– Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
– Providing support to staff, students, and parents as needed

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
