Purchasing, Stock & Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are working with a well-established and respected National company based in Suffolk. They are looking for a Purchasing, Stock & Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate coding to the nominal ledger.
• Purchasing, Stock & Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts processes.
• Supporting internal audits and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Liaising with other departments to resolve purchase ledger queries.
• Providing ad hoc support to the finance team as required.
• Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Previous experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, or a similar finance role.
• AAT or equivalent accounting qualification, (preferred but not necessary).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
