Job Title: Secondary Science Teacher (QTS Required)

Location: Torbay & Surrounding Areas (Torquay, Paignton, Brixham)

Position Type: Daily Supply, Short-Term & Long-Term Cover

Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Daily Pay Rate: £130 - £160 per day (Paid to scale for long-term roles)

• Science Cover Teaching: Deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

• General Cover Teacher Duties: Provide high-quality cover across a range of secondary subjects as required by schools.

• Classroom & Behaviour Management: Maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment in line with school policies.

• Work-Life Balance: Leave at 3:30 pm with zero evening planning or marking for day-to-day supply assignments.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status is essential.

• Strong classroom management skills and secondary curriculum knowledge.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
