• Develop Your Clinical Eye: You will learn to recognise subtle changes in muscle tone, joint stiffness, and fatigue. This ability to “read” the body is at the heart of effective physiotherapy assessment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with physical activities and mobility
• Assisting with transfers, positioning, and postural management (with full training)
• Encouraging engagement in physio-led programmes and daily movement routines
• Helping students build strength, balance, and coordination through play and structured activities
• Working closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and SEN staff
• Promoting independence, confidence, and physical wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

• Are a graduate in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Health Sciences, or a related field—or have relevant experience in care, support work, or rehabilitation
• Have a genuine interest in paediatric physiotherapy, disability, and neurorehabilitation
• Are physically confident, patient, and adaptable
• Have strong observation and communication skills
• Understand how physical challenges impact learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing

No school-based experience is required — your attitude, empathy, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

Full training in manual handling, safeguarding, and postural support will be provided.
