About the Role

As a Secondary Early Career Teacher in Salford, you’ll teach within your specialist subject while developing your classroom practice in supportive secondary schools. We have opportunities ranging from flexible day-to-day supply to long-term placements, many of which can lead to permanent teaching positions.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your subject specialism
• Planning, preparing and assessing lessons for long-term placements
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
• Working collaboratively with experienced teachers and school leaders

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or due to achieve QTS this academic year
• All subjects sepcialism welcome
• A genuine passion for secondary education
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning
• A commitment to working within secondary schools across Salford
