Senior Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice, easily commutable from Norwich, King’s Lynn, Wisbech and Downham Market.

With a varied client portfolio, modern systems and excellent career prospects, this is an opportunity for a  Senior Accountant looking to develop their career within a successful accountancy practice. There is potential for the successful client to progress into a Supervisor role, with headroom to develop into a Manager, in the longer term future. Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to support the Partners, with plenty of client contact.

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a wide variety of clients.
• Completing VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Bookkeeping and assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
• Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.
• Liaising directly with clients to obtain accounting records and respond to day-to-day queries.
• Supporting senior members of the team with a range of accounting and advisory work.
• Building strong client relationships and delivering an excellent level of service.
