Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for a stable, long-term career move? We are recruiting a passionate Early Years Educator for a permanent full-time position at a welcoming nursery setting in Forest Row.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Permanent Nursery Practitioner in Forest Row, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering EYFS Education: Planning and running engaging, play-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs under the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

• Key Person Duties: Managing a dedicated group of key children, tracking their milestones, and keeping progress records updated.

• Providing High-Quality Care: Ensuring a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment for babies and young children.

• Parental Engagement: Building strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers to provide daily updates on their child's progress.

• Safeguarding & Health: Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and child protection at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualification: NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols.

• Experience: Previous experience working in a UK nursery, early years, or pre-school setting.

• DBS: An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).

• Attributes: Reliable, caring, proactive, and committed to a long-term early years career.
