About the role
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working site labourer for a short-term contract role on a busy new build housing development in Middlesbrough.
This is a great opportunity to secure an immediate start, pick up consistent hours, and work alongside a highly respected housing developer. You will play an essential role in keeping the site safe, tidy, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting skilled trades on-site with material distribution to various plots.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe site environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Clearing site debris, sweeping out plots, and loading skips.
- Assisting the Site Manager with unloading and managing deliveries.
- Carrying out general physical labour and lifting tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
- Previous experience working on a construction site (New build housing experience is preferred).
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, and steel toe cap boots).
- A strong, proactive work ethic and excellent punctuality.
- Ability to take direction well and work safely around busy plant machinery.
- Living within a commutable distance of Middlesbrough for prompt morning starts.
