Mechanical Engineer/Plumber - Hammersmith

My client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Plumber to join their team based in Hammersmith on a minimum 3-month contract.The role requires a highly skilled professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in plumbing, capable of delivering high-quality mechanical and plumbing engineering/maintenance services.PPMs reactive, maintenance and installation etc.The successful candidate must hold an L8 qualification and demonstrate strong technical knowledge and practical expertise in plumbing systems.This position offers a competitive rate of £44 per hour (umbrella) or £33.33 per hour PAYE + holiday pay.The role involves working closely with teams to ensure plumbing installations and maintenance meet all relevant standards and specifications, with a focus on safety, compliance, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver mechanical and plumbing engineering/maintenance tasks in line with requirementsInstall, maintain, and inspect plumbing systems ensuring compliance with regulationsEnsure all work adheres to health and safety standards and quality controlsMaintain accurate documentation and report progress to managementSupport commissioning and testing of plumbing installationsSkillsL8 qualification (mandatory)Minimum 5 years’ experience in plumbingStrong knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical engineering principlesEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesTime management and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and under pressureAttention to detail and commitment to quality.If you deem yourself suitable for this position, please apply Immediately.
