Title: Freelance UI Designer, Mobile App Refresh Start: Monday 3rd August Length: 20 days, with potential to extend Work set-up: Hybrid, one day a week in the office Client: Global telecoms brand Contract: Outside IR35, Ltd or Umbrella only, no Sole Trader Location: Paddington, London Working days: Full-time, 5 days a week Career level: Midweight to Senior Rate: £500 a day Brief A global telecoms brand is refreshing its mobile app and needs a freelance UI designer to help ship it. This is hands-on, production-focused work for a designer who has come up inside a mobile company and knows how app design really works. You will design new features inside an established Figma design system, roll them out on Android first, then make them responsive across other screen sizes. If you love clean, detailed, high-volume UI work on a brand people actually know, this one is for you. What you will be doing Designing new features within an existing Figma design system Designing for Android first, then adapting responsively across screen sizes Building simple in-app motion and transitions as Lottie animations What you need Must have worked at a mobile company, this is essential Proven mobile app design experience Hands-on Lottie. This is a must, not a nice to have Strong design system and UI knowledge with a sharp eye for detail Client-side experience on telecoms brands Happy in production mode rather than blue-sky creative This is a pure UI role. No UX. Outside IR35, £500 a day based in Paddington with one day a week in the office. Ltd or Umbrella only. *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
