Civil Engineer

Our client, a global engineering consultancy with over a century of expertise in infrastructure development, is currently seeking a capable and experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a permanent, onsite position with potential for flexibility following the probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations
• Design pavements and drainage networks
• Carry out engineering evaluations, design analysis, and feasibility studies
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and comprehensive engineering reports
• Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and design teams to ensure aligned deliverables
• Support site inspections, constructability assessments, and design resolution activities
• Assist in project scheduling, planning, and estimation
• Maintain awareness of current engineering standards, technical developments, and best practice methodologies
• Apply full professional commitment and actively support company objectives and values

Job Requirements:

• Significant professional civil engineering experience
• Experience in infrastructure, foundations, pavements, structural, or related civil design areas
• Proficiency in engineering software and analytical tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Broad awareness of safety, quality, sustainability, and engineering compliance
• Ability to work onsite Monday to Friday, with flexibility available post-probation
• Degree in Civil Engineering
