Machine Operator – (Continental Shifts – Days and Nights)

We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous production or machine operating experience who are looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career.

You’ll begin working on the palletiser, learning the production process from the ground up before progressing onto more advanced machinery. Full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to develop into a fully skilled machine operator over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery using computerised control panels.
• Monitoring machine performance and ensuring production runs efficiently.
• Starting on the palletiser before progressing onto more complex machinery.
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and reporting faults where necessary.
• Maintaining product quality throughout the production process.
• Completing production paperwork accurately.
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Keeping work areas clean and organised.
• Working as part of a production team to achieve daily targets.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience operating machinery or working within a production environment is essential.
• Experience within food manufacturing or print manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for understanding work instructions and completing production documentation.
• Confident using computer-controlled machinery or control panels.
• Willing to learn and progress through different stages of the production process.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to long-term employment.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own initiative.
