DC Personnel are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Leicestershire (LE7) and are currently recruiting for an experienced Fettler.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 DOE

Working Hours: Mon-Weds 2pm- Midnight
Thurs- 2pm – 11.30pm
Friday – Off

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Fettler to join a busy fabrication team. You will be responsible for finishing, grinding, and preparing fabricated components to a high standard, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity are maintained.

Key Duties:

• Grinding, polishing, and finishing fabricated metal components
• Removing excess material and sharp edges from welds and castings
• Inspecting components for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards
• Preparing components for painting, assembly, or further processing
• Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Reporting any production or quality issues to supervisors
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Fettler or in a similar fabrication role
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work safely and efficiently
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
