Drivers Mate/ Warehouse Operative – Adhoc

As a Drivers Mate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient delivery processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Van Driver:
• Support the van driver during daily routes, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and timely.
  Navigate and plan routes effectively to avoid delays and ensure prompt delivery.
  Furniture and Bedding Deliveries:
• Assist in delivering furniture and bedding to customers’ homes, ensuring items are transported safely and securely.
  Handle goods with care, preventing damage during transportation and delivery.
  Product Assembly:
• Assemble products at customers’ houses as required, ensuring all items are set up correctly and functionally.
• Follow assembly instructions meticulously to ensure customer satisfaction.

Lifting and Manual Work:

• Engage in lifting and manual handling of heavy items, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Work as a team with the van driver to manage heavy loads and large deliveries.

Warehouse Duties:

• Work in the warehouse when required, assisting with the organization, loading, and unloading of goods.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, ensuring that all items are stored correctly.
