Year 3 Class Teacher – Primary School – Nottingham
Milk Education are recruiting for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational Year 3 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Nottingham on a long-term basis, starting in September 2026.
You’ll be joining a supportive school community that is committed to providing children with an engaging, inclusive, and high-quality education. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher or ECT looking to secure a new teaching opportunity for the new academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues and play an important role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Teaching a Year 3 class and delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
- Planning and preparing engaging, creative, and inclusive learning experiences
- Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils
- Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress
- Using assessment information to inform future planning and teaching
- Supporting pupils with SEND and adapting learning to ensure all children can access the curriculum
- Promoting positive behaviour and effective classroom management
- Building strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Supporting pupils’ academic, personal, social, and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
- Contributing to the wider life and development of the school
- Ensuring safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed consistently
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent and relevant experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Experience teaching KS2 is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
- A genuine passion for primary education and children’s development
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
