Are you looking for a hands-on role in a busy production environment? Join our client in Avonmouth, just outside Bristol, as a Production Operative where you’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality products are packaged precisely and efficiently. This role offers a stable 40-hour week with additional paid overtime available at time and a half, perfect for those seeking extra earnings and flexibility.

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring product is filled into the correct bags following production Bill of Materials (B.O.M.) instructions
- Preparing liners properly before filling to avoid stress and damage during forklift handling
- Checking that bag contents are uniformly mixed and free from dust or foreign materials, monitoring for computer alarms (under/overweight)
- Removing air from inner liners before securely tying and folding to prevent failures during lifting
- Ensuring bag markings are clear, legible and accurate
- Taking samples of finished products as per quality control procedures and storing safely for collection
- Regularly weighing bagged finished products to maintain quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow B.O.M. and production instructions accurately
- Reliability and flexibility to work core hours plus overtime when required
- Previous experience in production or warehouse environments is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain high safety standards
