HGV Class 1 Driver

Why join us?

• Minimum 10-hour day shifts, Thursday to Monday (including weekends)
• Work with a respected local company offering ad-hoc extra shifts
• No handballing: 3 to 4 drops per shift, allowing for a manageable workload

Pay & Shifts:

• £24.91 per hour (Weekdays)
• £61.50 per hour (Weekend Bonus)
• Day shifts, Thursday to Monday
• Ad-hoc opportunities available

What you’ll do:

• Transport goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are secure.
• Complete daily vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Maintain compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Accurately complete all relevant delivery and collection documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every drop-off and collection.
• Assist with route planning to ensure efficient deliveries and minimise delays.

What you’ll need:

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• At least 2 years HGV Class driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
