About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores/Inventory Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. Key duties include receiving, checking, and storing incoming shipments, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. You will also conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies, working closely with the management team to resolve any issues that may arise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management systems and procedures, with previous experience in a warehouse or inventory role preferred. You should possess excellent organizational skills, be comfortable using computers and inventory software, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid forklift license is an advantage, but not essential. Additionally, you must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items, as the role involves manual handling tasks.
If you are a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, we would love to hear from you. Join us in ensuring the efficient operation of our inventory and contribute to our continued success!
