About the role

Jackson Hogg Procurement are delighted to be exclusively partnered with PD Ports in Middlesbrough on their search for a Procurement Coordinator to join their procurement team. 

This is a full-time and permanent role offering a competitive salary. 

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the effective and efficient operation of the Procurement function through the coordination of supplier onboarding, systems administration, compliance activities, reporting. The role acts as the central point of contact for procurement-related enquiries, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and suppliers while ensuring procurement processes, records, and systems are maintained to a high standard.

The Role:

Systems & Administration

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Procurement team.
  • Administer e end-to-end supplier onboarding activities and maintain supplier records.
  • Maintain procurement data and support Oracle Fusion procurement modules.
  • Provide support for ERP implementation of Procurement modules

Compliance & Reporting

  • Support procurement compliance, governance activities, audits, trackers and registers.
  • Produce procurement reports and management information.
  • Ensure procurement records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Support data analysis and reporting requirements

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for procurement-related enquiries from internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance on procurement policies, procedures, systems and processes.
  • Support stakeholders with requisitions, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, goods receipting and invoice queries.
  • Provide first-line support for ERP Procurement module queries and troubleshooting.

 

The Person/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a Procurement or Commercial environment would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain administration.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and identify issues.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
