HGV Refuse Driver / Loader

Key responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV vehicle to collect general household waste, recycling materials including cardboard and plastics, and black bins
• Follow strict health and safety guidelines at all times to protect yourself, colleagues, and the public
• Adhere to scheduled collection routes across Bristol, ensuring efficient and timely service
• Assist with loading and unloading waste containers when required
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and promptly report any vehicle defects or issues

What we’re looking for:

• Valid HGV licence with a clean driving record
• Experience in refuse collection or a similar driving role preferred
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for Saturday overtime
• Good knowledge of the Bristol area or willingness to learn routes quickly
• Commitment to safety and excellent customer service
