The successful candidate will support students with their daily healthcare requirements, promote independence, and respond to individual health and care needs while maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with additional health needs within the residential setting.
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities as required.
  • Monitor and report on students' health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team and other professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Promote students' independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Ensure all care documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

In this role you will:

  • Be caring, patient, and committed to supporting young people
  • Have experience in a healthcare, care, or residential setting (desirable)
  • Have knowledge of medication administration or be willing to undertake training
  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Be able to work flexibly across early and late shifts

The role will include a substantial amount of moving and handling and personal care.

What we offer:

  • Term time working - 39 working weeks plus 6.4 weeks paid holiday
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Generous pension scheme with life cover
  • Access to retail discounts, health and wellbeing support including staff well-being sessions and events
  • Free on-site parking and refreshments

If you are passionate about providing outstanding care and support and would like to join a dedicated residential team, we would love to hear from you.
