Overview
Are you an experienced Bid Manager looking to make a real impact? Atkins Search have an opportunity for you to join a leading construction main contractor based in Nottingham.

Role
As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing and renewing frameworks that are integral to the business’ continued success. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and partners to lead the preparation, submission, writing and management of persuasive bids and proposals.
Your strategic approach and attention to detail will help maintain strong industry presence and win projects that align with the company values and goals. As the business continues to grow, this role has real progress opportunities to operate in a fluid and varied manner.
Responsibilities:
Lead the entire bid process for new and existing frameworks
Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning strategies and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Conduct research and analysis to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
Manage bid submissions, including writing, editing, and coordinating inputs from various stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with framework clients and industry partners.
Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance presence in key sectors.
Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the bid process.
Person
Proven experience in bid management within the construction sector, ideally with a focus on frameworks.
A strong understanding of the bidding and procurement process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Outstanding organisational and project management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple deadlines.
A creative and strategic thinker, with an eye for detail
Knowledge of relevant industry frameworks and clients
