Contract Prototype Machinist

Leicestershire

Inside IR35 – £30 per hour

Monday to Friday – Days

Our client is a specialist global manufacturer in the motor industry sector. They are seeking a Contract Prototype Machinist to join their existing team. As a Contract Prototype Machinist, your role will focus on product development, machining prototype components, working to tight tolerances, setting and operating workshop machinery.

Contract Prototype Machinist Responsibilities:

–          Working to technical engineering drawings.

–          Setting and operating workshop machines including lathes, milling machines and drilling machines.

–          Using precision measurement tools.

–          Assembling prototype builds to the exact design specifications.

Contract Prototype Machinist Requirements:

–          Previous experience working in a Machinist position.

–          Experienced setting and operating workshop machinery.

–          Able to read and work to technical engineering drawings.

–          Must possess a working knowledge in sheet metal, fabrication and inspection.

–          Must be a team player.

–          CAD experience would be beneficial.
