Interim Financial Reporting Manager

We're supporting a well-established international business based in Gloucestershire with the appointment of an Interim Financial Reporting Manager on an initial 3–6 month contract.

This role is ideal for an experienced technical accountant who can quickly take ownership of the Group reporting cycle, with a particular focus on group consolidations, statutory reporting and ensuring high-quality financial information during a busy period.

You'll work closely with senior finance leadership, providing technical expertise while maintaining robust financial controls and delivering accurate, timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly group consolidation process across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support the year-end audit and act as a key contact for external auditors.
• Review complex accounting issues and provide technical accounting guidance.
• Drive improvements to financial reporting processes and controls.
• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc technical reporting requirements.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
• Significant experience in group consolidations within a multi-entity business.
• Strong technical financial reporting background with IFRS knowledge.
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience of large ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Available at short notice or immediately.

Location

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site in Gloucestershire. Applicants should therefore be based within a commutable distance of Gloucester.

Contract

• Initial 3–6 month assignment
• Outside IR35
• Competitive day rate depending on experience
