About this Role
At Grazeley Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (3 mornings per week, term time only) to provide support for children on a 1:1 or small group basis. The role will involve working with children in Reception and KS2, and will involve supporting their learning as directed by the teacher and SENDCo. You would be joining an experienced team dedicated to helping children achieve their full potential.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
- Passionate about supporting pupils with SEND and want to make a difference to the life of a vulnerable pupil
- Able to build a positive rapport and exercise patience and consistency
- Kind, caring and compassionate
General requirements
- Experience with, or a love of, working with young people
- An awareness of commitment to equality
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- Understanding and implementing child protection procedures
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
The role we are offering has the following key details for applicants:
Role is sought from September 2026 start date- as soon as possible following appointment
Candidates could work in Reception or KS1
Role is term time only.
Salary: Grade 3, Scale Point 5 - 6 (£25,584 - £25,989 FTE) (Actual salary pro rata, depending on hours).
