Role

The appointed Site Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, ensuring programmes are met without compromising on quality or safety. Working closely with an experienced Project Manager, you’ll have all the tools, resources, and support needed to excel — with clear opportunities to progress to Project Management level.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all on-site activities from project start to handover

Manage site teams and subcontractors to achieve programme, quality, and cost targets

Monitor and control budgets, schedules, and build quality

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

Collaborate regularly with the design and commercial teams to resolve challenges efficiently

Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures

Produce accurate project reports and updates for senior leadership

Person

Proven experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor

Strong commercial awareness and understanding of design processes

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and delegate effectively

Confident communicator with strong listening skills and attention to detail

Sound knowledge of building regulations and local authority requirements

Track record of delivering both refurbishment and new build commercial projects

Organised and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Committed to meeting deadlines and achieving high standards of work

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
