Nuclear Licensing Engineer

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Nuclear Licensing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the licensing processes for nuclear facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements set forth by relevant authorities. Your key duties will include preparing and submitting licensing applications, conducting thorough safety analyses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical documentation. You will also be instrumental in reviewing and interpreting regulatory guidelines and standards, providing expert advice on licensing strategies, and representing the organization in discussions with regulatory bodies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nuclear engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear licensing or regulatory affairs. Proficiency in regulatory frameworks such as 10 CFR Part 50 and Part 52 is essential, along with a solid understanding of safety assessment methodologies. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will be responsible for engaging with internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
