Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join an International Construction Consultancy who provide first class service resulting in repeat business and client recommendation, therefore needing an experienced individual to join the Manchester team.

Role

As a Senior Project Manager based in Manchester, you will play a crucial role in delivering the prestigious schemes with a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle from inception to completion across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to; Residential, Retail, Leisure, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and Power.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager based in Manchester your responsibilities will include:

Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage
Leading the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
Project planning
Advising upon the procurement of resources
Leading the overall cross-functional project team
Monitoring performance, including the use of KPI’s
Monitoring and advising upon project finances
Taking responsibility for business development – including cross selling
Attending client meetings and reporting to Associate directors

To be a successful Senior Project Manager, you will align with the job description above but also:

Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment, ideally consultancy
Have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline
Proven experience in managing a range of projects within different sectors
Have the ability to be client facing, engage with project stakeholders, and ability to deal with issues appropriately and constructively
A proactive, positive attitude with confidence communicating at all levels
Strong organisational skills managing workloads with appropriate supervision
