Role



As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Leeds, you will:



Taking the lead on a variation of construction projects while mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and apprentices
Serving as the primary liaison for clients and design teams throughout both pre- and post-contract stages
Overseeing key client accounts and cultivating lasting professional relationships
Ensuring the delivery of top-tier commercial surveying services in alignment with company quality standards
Actively identifying growth opportunities and representing the company at industry and networking events
Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations




Person



The successful applicant for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position in Leeds will demonstrate:



Deliver comprehensive cost management services across various construction projects in Leeds
Provide expert cost advice and strategic input throughout project lifecycles
Prepare detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
Manage procurement processes and contract administration for major construction projects
Conduct valuations, prepare payment certificates and manage final accounts
Monitor and report on project financial performance and risk management
Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value
Support business development activities and contribute to company growth in the Yorkshire and Northern construction sector
