Production Operative – Metal Shop Assistant – Exeter – £12.71 per hour

WB Employment (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Production Operative Metal Shop Assistant to work for our client based in Exeter on temporary to permanent basis.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:15, Friday 07:30 – 13:30

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Duties will include:

• Rivet line work – assembling fireboxes using a rivet gun.
• Paint line loading – lifting products to and from the paint line.
• Shot blasting – lifting product to and from an automated shot blaster.

These stations are all trainable in-house but do require sustained lifting, ideally you will be reasonably strong and willing to complete physical duties.

The Candidate:

• Flexibility to carry out a wide-ranging role and be willing to train across various skilled operations
• Able to follow process controls and accurately complete paperwork to support this
• Heavy product needs to be handled
• Proactive
• Team player with good communication skills.
