Principal Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Environmental Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading environmental projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and providing expert guidance on environmental sustainability practices. You will conduct assessments, analyze data, and develop strategies to mitigate environmental impact. Your leadership will be essential in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and government agencies to promote environmentally responsible decision-making and sustainable practices within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of environmental science, policy, and regulations. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Key responsibilities include conducting site assessments, preparing environmental reports, and developing and implementing environmental management systems. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as you will be required to present findings and recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders. A Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience, is required. Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
