V06150 - Senior Project Planner

Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional to join their team in Barrow on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Planning, Monitoring & Control (PM&C) processes for a small project or a specific work package within a larger project.
• Support the Project Manager with various aspects of managing PM&C on more complex projects.
• Supervise or guide one or two professional staff, managing their delivery and performance.
• Provide appraisal and support for the development of junior staff.
• Apply and adapt PM&C practices to different circumstances.
• Develop PM&C practices and guide others in their application.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Project Planning, Primavera P6
• Capability to adapt and develop PM&C practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Barrow.
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in project management or planning.
