Our partner, BAE Systems, are seeking experienced Slingers to join their growing team in Barrow on a 12-month contract, offering competitive rates for both locals and those willing to commute from further afield.
As part of a specialist team, you'll be working on the latest generation of Submarines, Either Astute or Dreadnought Projects.

What will I be doing?
- Works safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines, in accordance with training
- Interprets information to confirm customer requirements
- Selects and prepares consumables, materials, components and equipment
- Delivers services and supports activities to Company standards such as but not limited to:
- Cleaning
- Confined spaces
- Lifting of loads
- Providing temporary protection solutions
- Checks the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification
Pay rates
BAE Systems offers a range of payrates for PAYE and Umbrella contractors, depending on your allocated shifts, and the distance you're travelling to reach the Barrow Site. Please see Below for Rates.
