About the role
Support Worker - Mably House
Location: Hatfield
Salary: £12,531 per annum / £13.77 per hour
Hours: Part-time (17.5 hours per week)
Join our homeless supported living service supporting 35 residents in self-contained flats, empowering them to build independence and move on within 24 months.
The role:
- Provide person-centred support with care, respect and openness
- Develop and review support plans, risk assessments and PEEPs
- Promote independence through life skills and regular 1:1 sessions
- Support with tenancies, finances and benefit applications
- Carry out welfare checks and respond to safeguarding concerns
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate, confidential records with accountability
Shifts: 9am-2pm
About you:
- Experience in care or support
- Compassionate, reliable and proactive with a “can-do” attitude
- Able to communicate effectively and adapt to individual needs
- Committed to inclusive, person-centred support and doing the right thing
- Works well independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
