VENUE SECURITY MANAGER

A Venue Security Manager is responsible for the overall security operation of a venue, including staffing, risk management, compliance, customer safety, and incident management. This role is commonly found in large bars, nightclubs, entertainment venues, stadiums, shopping centres, and event locations.

Key Responsibilities
•Manage all venue security operations.
•Develop and implement security procedures.
•Conduct risk assessments.
•Recruit, train, and manage security personnel.
•Manage incident investigations.
•Ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
•Liaise with police, local authorities, and emergency services.
•Monitor budgets and staffing levels.
•Produce operational and performance reports

Essential Requirements
•Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
•Significant security management experience.
•Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
•Knowledge of licensing, health & safety, and security legislation.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Requirements
•Security Management Qualification.
•First Aid Qualification.
•Experience managing large teams and venues.
