DOOR SUPERVISOR (BARS, CLUBS, PUBS, RETAIL & EVENTS)

A Door Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, staff, and premises. They control access, monitor behaviour, prevent disorder, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Check customer identification and age verification.
•Control access and egress points.
•Conduct security searches where required.
•Monitor customer behaviour and venue capacity.
•Resolve conflicts and prevent anti-social behaviour.
•Liaise with venue management and emergency services.
•Complete incident and accident reports.
•Ensure compliance with licensing and health & safety regulations.

Essential Requirements
•Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
•Right to work in the UK.
•Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
•Professional appearance and conduct.
•Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

Desirable Requirements
•First Aid Qualification.
•CCTV Licence.
•Previous experience in licensed venues, retail, or events.
