This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls activities.The ideal candidate will have experience working on large, complex projects in the nuclear, power, energy, or other highly regulated sectors and will be comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams in a structured project environment.Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed integrated project schedules.Coordinate schedule inputs with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls teamsTrack progress against baselines, milestones, and critical path activitiesAnalyze schedule performance and support forecasting, recovery planning, and what-if scenario analysisSupport project controls activities including resource loading, progress measurement, schedule performance analysis, and reportingMonitor and report on key project performance indicators such as SPI (Schedule Performance Index) and CPI (Cost Performance Index) in coordination with the broader project controls teamSupport change management, schedule updates, and baseline revisionsPrepare regular schedule reports and communicate schedule risks, delays, and mitigation plans to project stakeholdersEnsure scheduling practices align with project controls standards, contractual requirements, and the expectations of a highly regulated Canadian nuclear environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience as a Project Scheduler on large capital projectsExperience in nuclear projects in Canada strongly preferred; experience in power generation, utilities, infrastructure, or other regulated industries will also be consideredStrong proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with Microsoft Project is an assetDemonstrated knowledge of:Critical path method schedulingResource loadingSchedule forecasting and progress measurementSPI / CPI tracking and interpretationIntegrated project controls and performance reportingStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholdersMust be eligible to obtain and maintain required Canadian security clearance, or already hold applicable clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Canadian nuclear new build, refurbishment, modification, or decommissioning projectsFamiliarity with EPC/EPCM project delivery modelsProfessional certifications such as PMP, PSP, or AACE credentials are an assetExperience with earned value management is an asset
