Van Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Van Technician to join our client's reputable service centre in Gillingham, Kent. This is a vital role within a well-established dealership, offering stability, career development, and competitive remuneration. Benefits: • Competitive basic salary of up to £36,000 • OTE of £52,000+ annual earnings • Monday to Friday working week (45 hours) • 1 in 4 Saturdays paid at time and a half • Guaranteed bonus during the first four months • 30 days holiday including bank holidays (increasing with service) • Discounts on MOTs, servicing, and parts • Access to a retailer discount portal • Gym membership discounts • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • Life assurance benefits Duties of a Van Technician: • Provide technical diagnostics and repairs on light commercial vehicles • Complete vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards • Maintain high levels of technical expertise through manufacturer training programmes • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards • Assist in achieving customer satisfaction and dealership productivity targets as a Van Technician • Uphold manufacturer and company quality procedures at all times Requirements of a Van Technician: • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair  • Full UK driving licence • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, preferably with light commercial vehicles (LCV) • MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential • Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude • Prior experience within a franchised dealership environment is advantageous Our client is committed to employing skilled professionals who thrive in a dynamic workshop environment.
