Warehouse Operative

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative Stores Person to join them.  The role is open to candidates with an in-date FL certificate or experience of driving a CB or Reach FL truck. Location: Chatham Hours : Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 5pm (4pm Friday) – 39 hour week Rate: £12.71 ph Temp to perm opportunity available                              The Warehouse Operative is responsible for advised material movement and storage within the Warehouse, Goods-in and Stores areas.   Warehouse Operative duties: • Matching of delivery notes with purchase orders • Storing of components and products received, updating related records, for every physical action an electronic will take place • Maintaining Kanban areas belong to the shop floor • Perform a stock check • To assist in perpetual inventory and stock take duties, when location is empty inform the procurement team, the team leader, production planner via email/team and check stock is correct via device. • Adhering to H&S requirements including Near Miss reporting • Supporting with housekeeping aspects relating to tidiness, maintenance, and safety of the Warehouse, Goods-in, Stores, Yard and equipment • To carry out reasonable additional duties as assigned by a Team Leader • Resolving issues within stores/goods in relating to stock in regard to movement, discrepancies or paperwork • pick and pack operation
