Yard and Fleet Coordinator Location: Rochester, UK Salary: circa. £32,000 - £37,000 (DOE) Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm My client is seeking a reliable and hands-on Yard and Fleet Coordinator to join their growing team in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a practical approach to take ownership of the company's yard, fleet and equipment, playing a key role in supporting day-to-day operations. Package Benefits: • Generous Holiday Allowance • Company Pension • Private Medical and Dental insurance • On-site parking • Excellent and on-going training programme • Opportunity for growth and development within the company Key Responsibilities: • Take ownership of the daily operation, security and housekeeping of the yard, warehouse and workshop, maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment. • Receive, inspect, unload and accurately record deliveries, while managing stock levels of tools, materials and PPE. • Prepare, issue and receive tools, equipment and materials to support upcoming projects and site operations. • Clean, inspect, maintain and carry out minor repairs to company tools and equipment, coordinating the hire and servicing of specialist equipment where required. • Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring equipment is transported securely. • Coordinate the maintenance, servicing, MOTs and repairs of the company fleet, ensuring vehicles remain compliant, roadworthy and ready for operational use. Key Skills: • Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail. • Practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Able to prioritise workloads, work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Competent IT user with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. • Strong commitment to health, safety and high housekeeping standards. • Full UK driving licence essential; forklift licence desirable.
