Vehicle Technician Location: Maidstone Salary: £37,000 Basic + bonus | OTE £43,000+ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am – 12:30pm Ref: 31092 We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership in Maidstone. Vehicle Technician Role• Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards. • Perform vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults. • Complete authorised repair work efficiently and to a high standard. • Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs have been completed successfully. • Complete all workshop documentation accurately. • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Vehicle Technician Requirements• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent). • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic. • Experience within a main dealership or independent garage. • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. • Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full manufacturer training will be provided. • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. • Full UK Driving Licence.
